Barbara E. Miller, 90, of 8564 Morrow County Road 38, Galion, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at Atwood Manor Nursing Center, Galion, after a long illness.
Born August 12, 1913 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late Challie Crawford and Fanny (Looney) Crawford. She was preceded in death on January 19, 2002 by her husband, LeRoy W. Miller, Sr. whom she married on November 16, 1935.
She was a graduate of Galion High School in 1931 and attended Mansfield Business College.
She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was a homemaker all her life and belonged to the Daughters of Union Veterans.
She is survived by her two daughters and a son-in-law, Janet Sue Miller, of China, Linda Kay and Robert Sidell, of Oregon; a son and daughter-in-law, LeRoy W. and Helen Miller, of Galion; six grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde Crawford and a sister, Tillie Shaffer.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2004 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 3, with Rev. Dan Richter officiating. Interment will be in Iberia Cemetery.
