Mark L. Heiberthausen, 47, of 765 Chiswick Place, Galion, died Saturday, July 24, 2004 at home, unexpectedly.

Born December 16, 1956 in Galion, he was the son of the late William S. Heibertshausen and Harriet (Burden) Heibertshausen, who survives in Galion. He was preceded in death on March 3, 2003 by his wife, Linda Nan (Stockwell) Heibertshausen whom he married on September 9, 1981.

He was a graduate of Galion High School in 1975 and attended Ohio State University.

He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galion. Mark was a self employed business man who had many friends and was very loving, giving and generous.


Surviving are his two stepsons, Trent Pancoast, of Galion and Neil Pancoast, of Lancaster; a sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Jim Petersen, of Ft. Worth, Texas; niece, Jackie Petersen, of Norfolk, Va.; two nephews, Greg and Matt Petersen, of Ft. Worth, Texas; aunt, Naomi Burden, of Galion; mother-in-law, Betty Stockwell, of Galion; brother-in-law, Randy Stockwell, of Columbus, sister-in-law, Muriel Stockwell, of Ft. Myers, Fla., and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife and father.

Mark’s life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 31, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Galion with Rev. Michael Schelling officiating with a luncheon to follow. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Galion Community Hospital Extended Care Unit, 269 Portland Way South, Galion, Ohio 44833.
