Edna B. Roelle, 84, of 736 N. Columbus Street, Galion, died Monday, August 16, 2004 at Galion Community Hospital, after a sudden illness.
Born May 23, 1920 in Marion, she was the daughter of the late Albert Hough and Ida (Kehrwecker) Hough. She is survived by her husband Thomas D. Roelle whom she married January 7, 1940.
She was a graduate of Galion High School in 1938 and an active member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
She was a bookkeeper at Zeller and Yeager, C.P.A. in Galion for many years. She was interested in sports, was an avid golfer and a member at Valley View Golf Course. She enjoyed cooking reading and playing bridge.
In addition to her husband are her son and daughter-in-law, William J. and Shari Roelle of Galion, two grandchildren, Benjamin C. Roelle and his wife Melissa Roelle of Beavercreek and Jill M. Roelle of Fairborn; a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Helen Hough of Galion; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and George Kehrwecker, of Mt. Gilead and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Darrell Hough.
Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2004 at St. Mark United Methodist Church, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 19, with Rev. Tom Matus officiating.
